We remember long evenings spent in our grandparents’ countryside home — close to nature, when time passed slowly and even the smallest objects became a source of wonder. That is why we decided to recreate this unique atmosphere: to collect and restore antiques, bring them back to life, and share the charm with others who seek peace, nostalgia, and a genuine connection to history.

About Starodawna Chata
Starodawna Chata (Old Cottage) is a collection of over 100-year-old wooden houses with soul. One, “Grandma” was built here years ago and renovated to preserve its original character. The other, “Grandpa” was dismantled, moved to a new location, and meticulously restored. Their interiors are filled with history—antique dowry chests, spinning wheels, butter churns, cheese mills, cheese presses, and original tiled stoves. This creates a unique atmosphere of bygone times, inviting you to relax and experience the tradition.

Styled as a traditional countryside cottage and enriched with carefully restored antiques, it offers a truly authentic atmosphere. The property combines spaces for peaceful relaxation with opportunities for active outdoor recreation — from a sandy lakeside beach to a sports field and a bonfire area. A fully functional bread oven adds a special charm, allowing guests to enjoy the aroma and taste of freshly baked bread, just like in the old days.

Please note that this is not a hotel – our property is an authentic agritourism guesthouse in Poland, designed for those who appreciate rural charm.
The cottages offer five rooms that can be rented independently. Some rooms have separate entrances to the building and a separate, sealed fence for guests with pets.

On-site attractions — small lake, beach, sauna, jacuzzi, and a gazebo for 40 people
In Starodawna Chata, everyone will find something for themselves. Guests have access to a stocked pond with a boat and a sandy beach equipped with an umbrella and deck chairs — an ideal place to relax with a book. You can also organize group barbecues or a campfire here. Active guests enjoy using the volleyball and soccer courts, while fans of unique activities can try archery. For entertainment, table tennis, foosball, and badminton are also available, while for families with children, we have prepared a safe playground. To end the day, we recommend a relaxing session in the sauna and jacuzzi — available for those interested.
Payments for attractions are made in the cottage.
